The top paint picks from Behr, Sherwin Williams, and Benjamin Moore have officially been released, and guess what! Their most popular colors are one in the same.
Behr, Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams have all officially announced their predictions for the color trends of 2017.
Behr has segmented their palettes into 3 different categories based upon lifestyle. These categories are: The Comfortable Palette, The Composed Palette, and The Confident Palette. The pallets were constructed to inspire inner creativity and aid in designing a home that fits an individual’s style and personality. The Comfortable Palette encourages delicacy. It is a combination of soft pastels, emerging from sweet and bright hues. The Composed Palette features a mixture of perplex earth tones. The Confident Palette expresses excitement about color! It is bold and risky, and perfect for dramatic accents.
Benjamin Moore released 23 hues, which were not broken into any subdivision. Although they are not categorized by lifestyle and emotion, they appeal to light settings. Benjamin Moore Offers gentle hues inspired by the charm and innocence of morning light. Then there are the intense, passionate tones of the afternoon light. These hues establish a complex relationship between light and dark. At the sunset and evening hours vibrant colors dissolve, as day becomes night.
Sherwin Williams released 40 colors, broken up into 4 different categories; Noir, Holistic, Intrepid and Unbound. The Noir palette focuses on dark hues that set dramatic, intense settings. It includes moody, and rich tones. The Holistic palette encourages sustainability and transparency, featuring neutrals, blush and browns. The Intrepid palette is a collection of fiery and vibrant hues, promoting feisty energy to the existing moment. Lastly The Unbounded palette, this palette includes globally excepted colors such as, earthy mustards, ocean blues, corals and mud to empower connectivity.
